Why do some vertical men have sex with other men?
According to nationally-representative surveys in the Joined States, hundreds of thousands of straight-identified men have had sex with other men.

Originally treated as a subversion of the standard gay stereotypes, the Linear Gay is a homosexual male or female character who has no camp mannerisms, Butch Queer woman tendencies, or obviously "gay" affectations.
In the earliest cases, Unbent Gays were mostly there for farcical reasons: perhaps as a misunderstanding in which a direct character ends up unwittingly inviting himself out on a "date" with a 'stealthy' gay dude, or in which a homophobic character espouses his views to a stranger, only to detect out that the person he's talking to is gay.
