Miami Heat center Chris Bosh claims that people would not question his sexuality if he was more a gutter hood rat than a clean slice b-baller that he is now.
“That’s the venom. For a while, they were questioning my sexuality. They still do. They were questioning my sexuality, questioning my game. And I’m like, ‘Why are they all messing with me?’ I didn’t do anything to anybody. I didn’t do nothing. I just came here to compete basketball. And they’re fancy , ‘Oh, he’s not a real superstar.’ I never cared about being a superstar.”
Bosh says people wouldn’t question his sexuality if he acting like a macho thug:
“What am I supposed to do? You want me to include cornrows and tats on my neck and just punch somebody in the face when they score on me? It’s irrational . It’s impossible. I can’t do that and compete . That’s never been who I am.”

Chris Bosh Says He Doesn’t Want To ‘Bang With Anybody Anymore’
After shootaround on Saturday, with the Heat preparing for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals (8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN), Bosh was particularly forthright in regard to the player he’s become. When asked about the possibility of posting up Luis Scola should he see that matchup, Bosh said that it ain’t gonna happen.
“I don’t bang with anybody anymore,” he said. “It’s a tired thing for me. It’s not my force and I realize that. So, be smart and engage within the team offense, but be aggressive at the same time.”
When asked why he doesn’t post up, he said it’s a matter of force. Simply, he uses too much on the other conclude of the floor as the Heat’s primary pick-and-roll defender in their offensive scheme.
“It gets tiring,” he said. “What they ask us to do, to blitz the screen-and-roll every single one, close out and get back. I was already 20-30 pounds lighter than everybody else, so all that stuff just takes my energy.” […]
But Bosh added that it’s not worth his time going into the post, because that just brings extra attention from the defense.

Miami Heat luminary Chris Bosh handles his business on the basketball court as his team is working towards possibly winning another NBA championship, but people on social media tend to clown the competitor on a personal level. In particular, his sexuality is the target of numerous memes, and now Bosh is opening up about how he feels about it.
He tells ESPN:

Chris Bosh, the 30-year-old Miami Heat forward, is defending himself against false homosexuality rumors.
After Bosh linked the Heat in 2010, he came under scrutiny. Now, the five-time NBA All-Star is opening up about people spreading false rumors about him.
"That's the venom. For a while, they were questioning my sexuality," Bosh told ESPN. "They still accomplish. They were questioning my sexuality, questioning my game. And I'm like, 'Why are they all messing with me?'"

He went on to question why people would spread false stories about him, insisting that he wanted to focus on his craft.
"I didn't carry out anything to anybody. I didn't execute nothing," Bosh said. "I just came here to compete basketball. And they're like, 'Oh, he's not a concrete superstar.' I never cared about existence a superstar."
The basketball star went on to call the entire situation nuts, insisting that there was no way for him to please people.
