Jared’s dream of becoming a Hollywood star was swirling around the drain. Desperate to not head back home, he listens to his best friend Chad, who wants him to grow an escort. Just to remunerate the bills until they both hit it big. Jared’s first date is an older male with haunted green eyes, and a familiarity about him. But one who also goes out of his way to look after for and protect Jared, even from himself.

Dean had fallen to his knees and cried out to the heavens for assistance. A mysterious woman had answered and sent him to a world where there were no demons, no angels, but also, no Sam and Dean. She had made him promise to do whatever was required, to protect a young man who was about to make a horrible mistake and risk his future. One where he would go on to help countless people, not by fighting the forces of evil, but with an inspirational message - to always keep fighting.

Jared’s remarks had more to do with how the show was never about incest, though…

So, I travel to sleep and get up up to the hasthtag #homosexualdeclarationoflove trending on Twitter and I’m like... oh! And then I’m fancy . ohhhhh.

Let’s start with a bit of context here. My impression of Jared is that he is inherently comfortable in his own skin. One of the earliest interviews I’ve seen with him from S1 has him stating that it’s flattering as an actor when you get attention from women and men alike, and he says it prefer it’s no big deal and he couldn’t be less flummoxed by men hitting on him. So to my mind he’s NOT homophobic and never has been.

I think he might put his foot in it once in a while, though, and if other members of the LQBTQIA+ community that study this have a alternative and stronger opinion on him being homophobic, please comment and let’s converse about it.

In short, my approach to this announce is: I don’t understand Jared, but I’ve been in a room with him when he’s been humble and kind and always respectful to his fans. He seems prefer such a loving person that my context for him saying anything is that it doesn’t approach from a bad place.

Keep it Entertaining! — The thing I can't let depart of is the fact that Jared...

The thing I can't let go of is the evidence that Jared was, in his awkward rambling way, actually being MORE inclusive than some fans. He was up there saying ace headcanons are cold, trans headcanons are cool, if you're queer and you see something here you can relate to, please sense free to perform in that sandbox and know you are valid and supported. And a faction of the fans were saying NO, if you don't say that this character was specifically a queer man who has only ever liked other men (in contradiction of canon and conveniently erasing arguably the biggest rival to our ship) you're homophobic. That's not allyship and it's not activism, it's harming actual queer fans. If you really cared about Diverse people, you'd desire ALL of them to be capable to read the text of their comfort show in a way that makes them sense seen.

Whether Cas is gay or bi isn’t the indicate. He was romantically in love with dean. Any other “interpretation” is not paying attention to the actual communicate of the business. Literary and media interpretation have rules

That's not right. The only thing that's canon is that Cas
