In less homophobic countries like the UK and France, certain surveys display that about 4% of the senior population identifies themselves as homosexual. The taboo in exploring one’s sexuality makes a lot of people conform to the social expectation that they are supposed to be heterosexual cis-gendered individuals. Even if an individual explores her/his identity and finds out that she/he doesn’t fit the social norm; the stigma that haunts an individual in the aftermath of coming-out scares away people from publicly sharing their sexuality. Hence, this 4% is a highly deflated number. But still, let’s serve with this 4% by assuming that this percentage of the world’s population is gay.
4% means only 1 male child among the 50 students in our co-ed classroom, 10 men in a 500-student batch of our college, or about 20 men in the (say) 1000 clients, customers, colleagues, suppliers, workers, staff, etc. that we deal within about 10 years of work, all considering a 50% sex ratio. I sometimes do some people watching if I'm in a gay area of town but almost never talk to any of those guys.. just overhearing their superficial ken-doll gay life conversations is enough for me to grasp I have nothing in usual with them. That and I'm not attracted to "flaming" guys and don't really care about fashion and crap like that.
There's a reason those types congregate in the gay district - each other - and they can have each other all they want. I can't be bothered with 'em. I prefer much more "real" guys vs. guys who's biggest concerns in life involve some sort of fashion crisis.

What Gay and Bi Men Really Want
Are physical and sexual attraction the most appealing qualities in a partner? Or are unseen qualities like good manners and reliability the most attractive?
Following on from his study into what linear women want and what straight men want, D&M Research’s managing director Derek Jones has taken the next coherent step with his latest study into what gay and bi(sexual) men want.
In order to excavate deeper and depict out a correct list of turn-ons and turn-offs for gay and bi men, Derek once again used of the Im-Ex Polygraph method. He originally devised this tactic of analysis to distinguish what people say they want from brands, products or services from what they really want by comparing stated versus derived measures of importance.
Qualities the gay and bi men said they desired in a partner (‘stated’) were compared to the qualities present in example celebrities they nominated as attractive (‘implied’). The similar comparison was made between stated and implied negative qualities, to determine what attributes are really the biggest turn-offs.

A serious question: Why are some gay men attracted to fems?
It just does not make sense to me. Isn't the whole purpose of being lgbtq+ is because you favor MEN? So therefore how on earth could you find fems attractive? It defeats the whole purpose of being gay. You might as well travel be with a woman.
Are the guys that appreciate fems actually bi and not gay? That would make more sense to me since bi guys are of course attracted to both men and women so maybe they are turned on by feminine men?
P.S.: I am a masculine gay human myself that is strictly only attracted to other masculine men and I am not trying to offend anyone at all, I am just simply curious to hear diverse opinions on this...

Fems can't get pregnant unlike actual women, that's why some men think it is safer to use them as holes. There are some men who are gay and men who are hole-sexual.
