While his twin brother Tom Kaulitz (35) has been happily married to Heidi Klum (51) since 2019, Bill Kaulitz has experienced several setbacks in matters of love. In the podcast "Hotel Matze" with Matze Hielscher (45), he speaks openly about the pitfalls of his love life.

Bill Kaulitz on failed relationships: 'I'm too lazy to perform through it'

'That's something I need to work on,' says the singer. 'But I'm also too lazy to serve on it.' Processing the bad experiences and going to therapy is something he has 'no desire for. And then I've already fallen in adore again (laughs).' He's glad that after the 'very horrible experiences' he's had, 'I can still maintain interest in another man. [...] I'm not nervous to put my heart on the line again. When I find someone great, I dive right back in.'

His brother Tom has always been 'an incredibly relationship-oriented person, and I always thought that about myself. But I was always the wilder one. I had very nuts relationships at a very young age that were classified, and I still carry that with me today. When it's forbidden and secret, that's when it's exciting.'

The artist isn't afraid of new disappointments. 'Heartbreak is part of being alive.
