Griffith is gay

Question to people who identify with griffith

Well, I believe sexuality is a very complicated thing that environment and society influences have a lot to accomplish about it.
In that sense, every man or gal could be (that is, has the potential) a lgbtq+, a straight or a bis or even belong to a more radical "registred" category (bestiality or other stuff like that).

I contradict with you when you say that sexuality is complex, only people with a stretch aim of view build sexuality a complex thing. Sure unlike cultures have other impacts on people on the terms of "what perform descent people do" and this may cause them to repress themselves in many levels.

Thesis statement of this goddamn thesis: Guts is sexually attracted to Griffith.

Now, this is long. This is the shortest part of a four-part series, and this isn’t a short post. Basically my intention is to show why I find it so incredibly straightforward to read Guts as attracted to Griffith, and interpret how this reading adds layers of meaning that fit neatly within Berserk’s themes and enrich the story. I’m not going to speculate on Miura’s motives for adding a ton of gay subtext, prefer, it could be anything from trying to be as gay as workable without pissing off his publishers to it all creature totally coincidental and meaningless with an alternate explanation for every point I have, or anywhere in between.

My show is only that Berserk readily lends itself to lgbtq+ readings, with a focus on Guts’ sexual attraction to Griffith (as I feel like it tends to be neglected in favour of interpretations that Griffith has a one-sided crush.)

Part one covers the Inky Swordsman stuff and the way Guts and Griffith’s bond is revealed to the audience, part two covers the first several chapters of the Golden Age with a focus on vi

Griffith is not gay nor is he direct, sex has no meaning for him, Its a tool enjoy everything else. He would probably have sex with water if it could bring him closer to his dream.

I agree with that. I think he is ambisexual. He uses people and whatever means that is, including sex. But he's good at it...apparently. Why would Gennon fall for him so quickly? What an idiot that guy was. And then he got run through...see the look on his face when Griffith said," Well, I don't have ANY emotions for you good or bad, you were a pebble in the road and a noisy one at that.." And then rams him with the sword.

Then there was the thing with Charlotte. While he might have reflection Charlotte was pretty ( he did notice her when she was peeking from behind the stone wall when he was talking to the King of Midland and Prince Yurius) he went to her that evening because he was upset about Guts. And look where it got him...even without the disgusting King trying to rape Charlott

Hooo boy. Where to even begin?

  • Guts and Griffith are the first to come to consciousness, as they have some seriously suggestive subtext going on, and fans can describe the whole story post-Golden Age as the aftermath of a particularly brutal breakup.
    • Griffith's penchant for declaiming long, soulful speeches to Guts while completely naked for no real reason is probably a good place to start. Or just relies on the phrase, "Naked water fight."
    • After they meet, Griffith mentions to Guts that he wants him to join his mercenary group because he thinks Guts fighting is "magnificent" and he thinks Guts is "fascinating" and says "I find you much to my liking." While this occurs the same music that plays when Guts and Casca made love starts playing.
    • Not to mention how he frequently reminds Guts, "You are mine."
    • The whole duel between him and Guts before Guts left has Griffith acting like he was existence rejected by his companion , and reacting like a possessive Yandere about it. In fact, during Griffith's Ho Yay-tastic fight with Guts before Guts left the Band of the Hawk, Griffith is shown having thoughts of If I
