Brian Chesky Wife, Girlfriend, Family, Net Worth, Height, Weight

You wouldn’t be entirely erroneous to compare the story of the life and experiences of Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky to the proverbial story of rising from grass to grace. He came from a modest background where both parents worked for low wages. According to Brian, he was still bankrupt and continued to lose weight even though he didn’t have much weight to shed.

In October 2007, when San Francisco was residence to the Company’s Industrial Designers of America, Brian, along with his co-founder Gebbia, purchased an air bed for their apartment and rented it out when there was no accommodation ready and that all rooms in the hotel were fully booked. With so much debt and mounting rent stalking them in the deal with, the duo actually gave in to the 2008 Democratic Convention of 2008 to sell Obama and McCain-themed breakfast cereal by the box, just to survive.

Why didn't anyone tell me that the billionaire CEO of Airbnb is gay?

R11 Not MAGA.

A several years ago, an AirBnB PAC was created. He appears to give it $5000 a year (which in 2024 represented about 1/6 of the total PAC). Contributions made to various candidates appear to be pretty evenly split between Democrats and Republicans - mostly at the Spokesperson level. Dump's name doesn't demonstrate up. I'm assuming the PAC picks people who are amiable to the tourism-travel industry.

Prior to that, Chesky's personal donations were all Democratic. One year he have something just under $5000 to almost every state Democratic committee. Individual candidates he's supported in the past included: Alex Padilla, Chuck Schumer, Cory Booker, and Nancy Pelosi. He also gave money to Kamala for her California U.S. Senate hasten, as well as Hillary's 2016 run for president.
